Runner

This morning Peyton grabbed my Ipod and told me he'd be right back, and that he was going on a run.

Put his shorts on...

Strapped on the Ipod..

And ran laps around the house.
It's funny how he copies us..

Heartbreak...

Well I was just so excited and spilled the beans a bit early...and at 5 1/2 weeks, I miscarried.  We are sad, but this is just a part of God's plan. Our little tiny bean is in heaven and we will try again.

And I am even more thankful for this little guy...

St. Patty's Day trip to the Children's Museum

This morning we met up with Kate/Ethan, Amy/Hunter at the Children's Museum.  The boys had a lot of fun together.

Shopping..

Ringing it up...

Pouring Amy some coffee...

Giving baby a bath...

Ethan and Peyt got soaked!

Drying off his shirt...lol.

There was no joking around with this team-teeth-brushing business.

Best buds.

Peyton picked BLACK of all colors to paint his face.

Driving me in the bus.

This is Peyton's favorite.  Him and Ethan could have stayed there all day.

Morning walk to the park

This morning I packed Peyt up in the stroller and walked down towards Blue Lake to a little park down there.  We usually stop at Shorelake Park to see the ducks, but we found some on the way there.  Once they spotted us, they practically sprinted towards us looking for food.
There was a guy mowing the lawn with a huge mower when we got there so we sat and waited for him to finish.  Peyton was scared to play while it was so close.  It was a nice sunny morning and a good 2.5 mile walk for me.

Shamrock Run 2010

So yesterday I braved the 8K Shamrock Run.  It wasn't so bad!  I am a little sore today, but I survived.  My time was 45:18 for 4.98 miles, placing 705 out of 2944 for the women 8k.

And considering that I was staring at this before I left...I'll take it!  :)

Chilly, but no rain!

Peyt's been battling a cold for over a week so we've been inside most of the time; however today the sun came out for a bit this morning and it felt good to get some fresh air.

He's really into remote control cars, hummer, helicopters lately.
Getting some more practice on his bike.

And jumping of course.

Lego bonding.

B went out and got a couple Lego sets for "Peyton" around his birthday time.  B grew up LOVING Legos.  He spent a good amount of time putting these together and Peyton was so excited to finally be able to play with them.

Now they are on display on his shelf...I'm sure there will be more added to the collection.  :)
