Halloween 2016

Usually I take a week off in October so we can hit a bunch of pumpkin patches and do Halloween activities, but I didn't this year and regretted it!  Plus the weather was so rainy and wet.  But we made it to the school Halloween bash, I got the day off to help with Peyton's class Halloween party (I am one of the room parents for the 4th grade class) and we went trick-or-treating (dry!) with our besties.

These are all iPhone pics...I need to bring out my big camera more.
My handsome FBI agent ready for the Halloween bash
I did some Day of the Dead makeup for Liv, she was a hit at the bash.

We did a food craft and played Halloween bingo with the class.  These kids are so close after 5-6 years together, it's been so fun to watch them grow up.

We meet up at the McKenzie's to go trick-or-treating in their neighborhood.

Best friends all done and waiting for some trick-or-treaters to hand out candy
Also, here are the few Halloween makeup looks I did just for fun.  I really enjoy this!
Not sure what this is...just some dramatic makeup with a spider web eye

Pumpkin Carving

With work, busy schedules and wet weather, we didn't make it to the pumpkin patch this year.  My sister-in-law Sherri watched the kids during conference week and took them to a patch in between down pours.  Thank you Sherri! Love you.
Marissa and the kids.  Peyt got the hugest pumpkin.  He does everything big.

Peyt sent me this goat selfie from his iPod while I was at work.   I was dying..hilarious.

Ready to carve his ginormous pumpkin

Liv hates touching the pumpkin guts so she used gloves.

She did an awesome job carving with a little help from Dad.

I did a skull, B and Liv did a spider and Peyt did a scary face.

Fall Soccer for Liv 2016

Olivia had a great Fall season of soccer.  She really improved her ball handling skills and just hustles non-stop.  We love watching her play.

Cheering on her teammates
There were a couple games where she played in the pouring down rain-it didn't bother her one bit.

A couple videos...
She hustles all game long.  I love how hard she works:

She's a great defender and does a great job predicting where the offense is going to go:

Hugh & Sherri's Halloween Party

My brother and sister-in-law had the fam over for a Halloween party.  My brother had the most hilarious costume, it was so out of the ordinary for him which made it even funnier.  We had lots of snacks, drinks and poker!  Always a fun time with my crazy family.

Boo Bomb

Meggan got the hook up with tickets to go to the Boo Bomb!  Sugar Hill Gang, Blackstreet, En Vogue, Color Me Badd and more. It took me way back to middle school and high school! I was however, so disappointed that Jagged Edge was a no show.  Steph, Jennica, Meggan and I had so much fun!

We met at The Observatory for some dinner and drinks before...

Then, we waited for our Uber in Steph's "bar car." (Our Uber driver, especially the one who took us home, probably thought we were nuts!)

My future niece!
Love these three sooo much!
