First Day of School

 After a summer that completely flew by, the kids entered a new school year!  Liv started Kindergarten and Peyton started 4th grade.
The night before school, Olivia's new teacher had an envelope for her to open before she went to bed. A note and some confetti to put under her pillow to help her get a good night's rest before her first day.  Peyton had something similar before he started Kindergarten too.

Duckpond Cellars

Our good friends Meggan and Jimmy invited Molly and us out to the Duckpond winery in Dundee where Jimmy was playing in his band, Jafco.  We so needed this time away after a trying couple of weeks.  It was so nice to relax outside, drink wine, chat and listen to some jams.  Afterward we headed home, picked our kids up and hung out together for the rest of the night.  Thankful for good friends!

Wickiup 2016

Another year at Wickiup in the books.  It was an off year to say the least but here's a slew of pics.

Mid-week we drove to Crescent Lake to check it out.  It was so nice!  Clear water, cabins, camp sites and things you could rent for the water.  We may try that next year instead of Wickiup.
