I had last Tuesday off and the forecast called for a gorgeous sunny day so Olivia and I headed out to Woodburn to peruse the Tulip Festival. I felt bad that Peyt didn't get to go this year, but he told me "Mom, we got to do so many fun things together when I was little and Liv doesn't get to, so she should go have special time with you." What a sweet boy!
We got there right at 9 when they opened, as I was hoping to miss the crowds, but nothing was really up and running yet. So we first walked through the fields and then went back to play on the slides, duck races, etc.
I had a great morning with my girl!
