Father's Day 2013

Father's Day Morning, we woke up early and headed to early mass.  Then we drove back out our way to Troutdale to meet B's parent's and brother at The Tippy Canoe to celebrate Father's Day with B's dad.  Oh my.  The food was SO good.  Guy Fieri was there just last month filming his show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.  I can't believe we hadn't been there before, but we will definitely be going back.
We then headed home to relax for a bit and let Olivia take a nap before we headed to my Dad's house for dinner.  My dad just got back a few weeks ago from a big guided fishing trip in Florida so we BBQ'd a ton of Mahi Mahi and everyone brought a side dish.  It was delish.

Basketball, always up at the Prazeau house.

The kids always enjoy their older cousins.

Mouth-full-of-food smiles

They got all the brooms out from the garage and were playing with them????

The kids with B..they are so lucky to have a Daddy like him!  Love you B, thanks for all you do!
THEN...we attempted a sibling picture with my dad.  Always entertaining.  Some outtakes of course too...

The best we got. :)

And his boys

And about half the grandkids

And the littles.

Mother's/Father's Day Gift

B's parents got this art kit for the kids to recreate VanGogh's Starry Night painting for B and I's Mother's/Father's Day gift. We love it!!  It's some sort of stencil with special marbled paints/crayons.  They did all the coloring themselves...I'm really not too sure how it worked but it turned out awesome.  I have it up on our living room wall.

Olivia did the moon and I'm sure Peyt did most of the rest.

Sunny Saturday

Last Saturday was the first weekend day in a long time that we had zero plans.  We spent nearly the entire day outside doing yard work, shooting hoops, and spending time in the (tiny) pool.  B and I also snuck in our runs too.  It was nice! And I think the kids enjoyed the lack of hustle and bustle.

Here's some pool time pics....

Skinned up knees and all

I just can't even handle how cute this girl is!

Silly guy

As Olivia gets older, they seem to bicker more often, but they sure do have fun together.

Kindergarden comes to a close

Today was Peyton's last day of Kindergarden! He learned SO much this year.  He grew physically and intellectually a TON and we couldn't be more proud.  On to first grade!
First and last day of Kindergarden
At the end of the school day we went to Peyton's school for his "Kindergarden send-off" (graduation).
The tables all had picture frames of all the students with 'what they wanted to be when they grew up'

They recited prayers, poems and sang their favorite songs with sign language too!

Sibling love...

Peyton with his two buddies, JC and Ethan

Mrs. Brocka...she was so awesome.  We couldn't have asked for a better teacher.  She was strict, but so caring.  Peyton really loves her.

Mrs. Ngan was the teacher assistant for Kindergarden and he loved her too! She is the sweetest.

Girls zoo day

Today after we dropped Peyt off at school, Livs and I headed to the zoo.  Olivia hasn't been able to go there nearly as much as Peyton did at that age, now that I work day shift.  We had so much fun! We got there right as it opened, and thank goodness we did, because huge crowds of students came in a little after for field trips and it was SO crowded by the time we left.  It still just is crazy the difference between having a boy toddler and a girl toddler.  At 2, Peyt was ALL over the place, a complete boy and I was exhausted by the time a zoo trip was done.  Olivia stays right by my side and never puts me out of her sight.  She seemed to love the penguins the most and wanted me to hold her for all the 'scary' animals like the lions and the chimps.  She is just a total girl and Peyt is a total boy and I wouldn't change either of them!

Watching the sea lion

Love her!

She was scared of this guy

These two elephants were wrestling.  We didn't get to see the baby elephant. :(

Just like Peyt, she loves the Jeep

Checking out the cheetah

The black bears were wrestling too!

Loving her new penguin friend from the gift shop...she named it Fluffy!

Loved my morning with Liv.

She was tired out and crashed on the way home....
