Marissa's Sweet 16th!

On Saturday we celebrated my niece Marissa's 16th birthday! I remember the day she was born and it doesn't seem like very long ago.  Rissa has grown into a gorgeous young woman and I am so proud of who she is growing up to be.  We had a BBQ at my brother Hughy's house, the kids had a blast jumping on the trampoline and as always we all had fun chatting it up.  Two of my nephews, Sean and Brandon had babies a week apart...Julien and Sullivan (Sully).  I need to do a post on both of my new great nephews.  Brandon and Kate were at the party so we all got to pass around the adorable and laid back Sully.
HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY MARISSA!
As always, I post way to many pics...

Proud second cousin (or is it 1st cousin once removed? I have no idea)

Grandpa Randy! So weird that my siblings are becoming grandparents.

Oh that baby smell is going to get me in trouble....

These two have such a good time together

Beautiful new mommy

My nephew Bradley finally found a comfortable car for his 6'7" frame (bought with his own cash!) and spent most of the evening polishing it to perfection. A perfectionist just like my brother

Kate and Brandon are doing awesome as parents.

Summer CYO Basketball Camp

This past week Peyton went to all day (8am-4pm) CYO basketball camp.  This was so fun to have him experience! I loved CYO growing up and I love that he enjoyed it so much.  He absolutely loved it. They did lots of basketball skill stations, scrimmaging, and also had other activities in between such as swimming, dodgeball, and a short movie time.  He asked us to drop him off early, and to stay late.  He even asked if we could show up at 5am instead of 8am. :) The only negative about this was the commute.  The camp was at Valley Catholic HS in Beaverton.  Fairview to Beaverton in traffic both ways was horrid.  Almost a 3-hour round trip twice a day was taxing.  But we'd do it again in a second, it was very worth it.  Big thanks to B's parents and Aunt Marcia for dropping him off most of the days.  Also, the director of CYO ended up being one of my assistant coaches from Central Catholic, so it was nice to see her and I can now say that Peyton and I have had the same coach!  I love basketball and I'm so so thankful that Peyt is sharing that love with me.  He learned so much this week about the game and even had us adjust our hoop at home to regulation height. He is super excited for fall CYO coming up in September!
Last day of camp with his T-shirt and Certificate!

4th of July

Initially, I was totally bummed out that I was scheduled to work swing shift on the 4th of July but a coworker asked me for my shift!  Hallelujah! B had to work until 2 but after he got home, him and Peyt went to get some fireworks, the kids played outside for a bit and then we headed to B's parents for a BBQ.  Perfect weather, delicious food, and fun with family!

Peyton has gotten good at the hula hoop.  :)

Cruisin'

Peyt wanted a pic with his new sunnies...sticker and all

Love her!!!!

Peyt wanted to get my pic too
Love this pic....the kids had fun in the pool and throwing water balloons
Usually I can't get Liv to sit still for a picture, but she sat in this chair and asked me to take pictures of her.  After every picture she'd say "Another one Mommy!"

Olivia was pretty tuckered by the time we started fireworks.  She sat all bundled up most of the time dozing in and out.

Peyton was LOVING fireworks this year

So tired!

She agreed to one sparkler but then resorted to her blanket

Lovin her Daddy!
