First T-Ball Practice

Yesterday Peyton had his first T-ball practice.  It was so fun to watch him participate in this new milestone! He was so excited all day and couldn't wait for 6pm to come.  He proudly, put on his baseball hat and couldn't wait to put on his new cleats.  He looked so grown up to me and I'm excited for the upcoming season...with the Rockies.
I took a lot of pics...
So excited on the way there!

Livs watching her big bro

It was so cute watching all the chaos of coaching 5-6 year olds

Look at that focus...ha

He did a great job listening to his coaches

And making new friends

I just can't stand how cute he is

There's a lot for him to learn about the game, but I'm hoping this is a start to a great, long baseball career.  We're so proud of our boy!

A GREAT weekend!!!

Finally, some SUN! I was so bummed when I started getting a sore throat earlier in the week with good weather coming up for the weekend and a race I was going to run in.  Saturday morning I woke up and it was worse than ever, I felt like I was swallowing knives. So, I headed into the urgent care and they confirmed what I was afraid of-Strep throat and tonsillitis.  Luckily the sore throat was my only symptom and after a few doses of antibiotics I was feeling MUCH better.
We spent a lot of time outside this weekend which felt so good! B finished putting together Peyton's basketball hoop and I'm not sure who was more excited, me or Peyt.  :)

Olivia had to get in on the action too, look at that sweet follow through!
I've been dreaming of the day I got to shoot hoops with my kids outside our house, makes me happy.

Sunday morning, we headed out to Sandy for the 1st Annual Procrastinator's Run.  We were planning on running the Shamrock Run this year, but being the procrastinators we are, it filled up before we signed up.  So my good friend Melissa from high school put together this run for all the people who didn't get into the Shamrock and wanted to run.  She had t-shirts made and everything.  B and I ran a 6-mile route, it was nice to get to run with him as it's pretty rare, it was fun! Melissa's mom Bernie hosted at her house and being the avid runner she is, she had the run all mapped out with different distances and also had a delicious spread of breakfast and mimosas for afterwards! It was really fun. On the way home, B and I stopped at Joe's Donuts...so good.
Amy, Steph and I post race.

All finished!

After we got home we spend a lot more time outside.  B and Peyton played some catch and took some hits on the tee.

That evening we headed to Godfather's Pizza for Peyton's T-ball meeting.  We're so excited for him!

Lately..just around the house

Before this past weekend it's been nasty, weather-wise.  Lots of rain and wind...so lots of time inside for us. When we are spending a lot of time at home, I try to get my camera out and take pics of the kids...the time is just moving too fast and they are growing before my eyes.
When you tell her to smile, this is what she gives.

I love these two SO much!

Being 5 is hard...oh do we have an independent boy

Peyton continues to be a great big brother

Peyton's bestie Ethan came over one afternoon to play while his Mommy had a job interview (which she got, yay Kate!)

They have so much fun together

Peyton is loving basketball right now...we've been shooting lots of hoops and watching a lot of March Madness. My favorite time of year!

She is walking, (almost running now) all over the place!

Peyton gets to watch a couple shows a day when its too cold/rainy to play and LOVES the Lego show Ninjago...and loves playing Temple Run on my phone.

Spoon skills

I gave Olivia a bowl and a spoon for the first time the other day...she's getting the hang of it pretty fast.  And now wants nothing to do with me feeding her, she wants to do it all by herself every time!

A perfect SUNNY day for a picnic!

Today we met Kate and Ethan at a park near their house for a picnic lunch and to play! The boys had a great time running, playing and lots of swinging!  I'm sad this is the last sunny day for a while.

Ethan decided he was Jake the Neverland Pirate today and had his bandana on.

Peyt giving his sis a push

Kate got a great arm workout pushing the two of the boys at once.

Park and the Ducks

It was a crisp partly sunny day yesterday so we decided to head to the park. Olivia wasn't a fan of the swing when we first got there, but loved it by the time we left.

Um

Peyton did great pumping his legs and swinging 'super high!'
Peyton had me spin him up..

She was loving it..
On the way home we stopped at the dock on Mud Lake to see what the duckies were up to.

Olivia loved them and was chatting to them
