Pooch

I'm at the stage where I don't quite look pregnant, just kind of chubby.  :)
11 weeks

12 weeks

I'm finally starting to not feel like such a zombie and the nausea has pretty much subsided.  We're gearing up to go camping for a week at Wickiup which we are excited for.  It's sort of bitter-sweet for me though, because my parents aren't going this year.  My mom has hit a pretty bad rough patch in the past month with her cancer fight and she's just too sick to go.  She has a colostomy now and also a temporary drain in her abdomen which would not be fun to deal with while camping.  She's pretty sad that she can't go and so is the rest of my family.  For those who know my mom or want to follow her journey against this horrible disease, my sister created a blog keeping up with her fight against cancer. (Click here).  We're praying like crazy she can get over this hump and start chemo soon.  She's such a trooper and I hate watching her suffer like she is.  Love you MAMA!

Playdate and some exciting stuff!

Today Kate watched Peyton for a while for me.  They just got a new boxer puppy Charlie!  He is so cute!  Ethan has a new sand box which Peyton really enjoyed playing in.
5-month old Charlie.

Ethan and Peyton working hard in the sand.
Peyt did not want to leave.  He threw probably the biggest tantrum in the entire history of Peyton-ville.  It was lovely.  Half-way home after he calmed down he told me sorry and said "we can go to Kate's another time."  Geez Louise...I'm hoping the terrible 2/3's end soon!  :)

SOOOOO, the reason Kate watched Peyton for me was because....we're expecting Springer baby #2 and I had to go to my 2nd prenatal appointment!  :)  I'm due Feb 6, 2011. After our heartbreak in March, I'm now 11 weeks along and we're so happy/thankful/excited.

At 11 weeks:
Weight gain: 1 lb.
BP: 106/66.
Baby's heart rate: 160.

We're not going to find out the sex this time which makes me anxious and excited at the same time. I've felt completely different this time around.  With Peyton, I had no nausea and felt pretty normal besides being tired.  I've had off and on nausea and extreme fatigue. The last few months have been, well kind of brutal.  This time I don't get to sleep 11-12 hours plus get a 2 hour nap.  :)  I work until midnight most nights and get 5-6 hours of sleep and no nap.  However, I have to say I have the best husband ever.  When we both have the day off he lets me nap and gets me whatever I'm craving!  Love you B!!
I'm slowly starting to get a bit more energy back and hopefully the nausea will subside in the next couple weeks or so.  I'm so ready to get back in a routine of going to the gym.  We're so very thankful for a healthy pregnancy so far!

Raspberries!

Today Peyton and I met Kate and Ethan at Smith Berry Farm in Hillsboro to pick some berries. The boys had such a good time together running up and down, chattering to each other, holding hands, and picking berries.  The raspberries are HUGE!  We picked a little over 5 lbs. I definitely want to go back and pick some more.  It was sort of a long drive from Fairview, so we may try a different farm next time!

Last week

Last week was perfect weather-wise! I love hot, 90-degree days.  We spent a lot of time outside playing in the water.  Here's some pics from our week:

Playing in his kiddie pool.  I ended up getting totally in too.  :)

Pretending to be a superhero with his beach towl and magic wand.

Playing in the sprinkler.

Coloring with chalk.

Pancho loves the hot weather and basks in the sun with us.

Digging in Grandma's dirt.

Daddy got Peyton a new pool with a slide on Friday which he really loves.

Happy 4th!

Last night to celebrate the 4th of July, we went to B's parent's for a bbq.  His mom made these ribs....oh my...THE best I've ever had.  Delicious.  After dinner we spent most of the time outside doing fireworks and watching the neighbors' fireworks.  A ton of people were doing illegal ones which was fun to watch.  We could also see the Blue Lake fireworks from the house.  Peyton had a blast running around and throwing his pop-its and doing sparklers.  Happy 4th!

Doing his pop-its.

Great Uncle Ron got Peyton some pull-string poppers which he had fun doing.

My boy.

Happy Birthday Ethan!

Yesterday we went to Oaks Park to celebrate Ethan's 3rd birthday! It was really crowded, but a perfect day weather-wise!  The kids rode a few rides for a bit and then we had a really nice picnic and cupcakes! It was a lot of fun.  Peyton wants to go back soon and ride some more rides.  :) Thanks Kate for a great party!

They have all these crazy mirrors that are hilarious.
