Peyton started basketball again with the YMCA. He has quite a few of his classmates on his team which is so fun! I finally brought my camera to one of Peyton's games.

Birthday Celebration with the Prazeau's
We ended up moving the date and the location of the kids' birthday party with my side of the family to my Dad's house due to the snow storm. Not everyone made it, but the kids still had a great time!

Love Day
With the kids' birthdays both in February, B and I don't get to celebrate like we used to. But with the kids, it's so much fun to do little things to celebrate. I was off work all Valentine's week to celebrate the kids's birthdays so we did some fun activites. We made heart cookies, worked on Peyton's Valentine box and Valentine's, and on Valentine's Day night we went and saw The Lego Movie, which was really good!

THREE!
On February 3, our girl turned 3! She is growing up so fast and we could not love our girl more.
She had her well-check up today and she is a healthy girl!
Height: 40 1/4 inches (97 percentile)
Weight: 35.5 lbs (85 percentile)
They checked her sight which was great and Dr. Hahn was impressed with her speech, knowledge of letters and was surprised she was completely potty trained already. Olivia talked her ear off the entire appointment.
Olivia's loves:
Her bun bun and panda, which she totes every where she goes; puzzles, pretend play, playing catch, shooting hoops, doing anything and everything with her brother; painting; The Little Mermaid; looking at pictures on my phone, Jason Aldean---she is obsessed.
She's knows her letters, shapes, colors, and we are working on numbers. She traces letters really well and is starting to write her name. She is so very excited to start preschool in the fall.
Olivia is still a pretty good eater..she definitely was more picky this past year though. Her favorites are oatmeal w/PB, raisins, coconut oil and flax seed (she wont eat it without all that business in there), PBJs, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, yogurt, pasta, pears, apples, chicken and of course any sort of treat or dessert. :) She isn't big on milk, and never has been, she prefers water over anything.
She is still napping once a day....she will sleep for 3+ hours if we let her, but usually wake her up after 1.5 or 2 hours. She sleeps great at night after she gets to sleep. She loves to come out a couple times after we put her to bed to see what we are doing, go potty, or get a drink of water.
Olivia has a pretty laid-back temperament. Don't get me wrong, she definitely has her dramatic moments and tends to whine a lot, but overall she is a happy girl. We are trying hard to work with her to stop sucking her thumb! She mostly only does it at night, but it's affecting her teeth, and the dentist encouraged us to help her stop. We shall see. ;)
On her actual birthday, I had the day off. First, we headed to my dentist appointment bright and early. She was a champ and sat quietly while I had my cleaning. She even got to venture to the treasure box at the dentist office to pick out some birthday prizes. After that, we headed to Starbucks for a birthday hot chocolate and cake pop.....

Then, we met Steph at the nail salon for Olivia's first official manicure. She loved it. I know I've mentioned this before, but girls are so different than boys. Peyton could not and would not sit still for anything at this age. She just goes with the flow and is really laid back.
Feeling pretty fancy |
Mommy got a manicure too |
We will have to have lots more girls spa days. |
Liv got flowers painted on her thumbs. |
Ready to open a couple small gifts from Peyt and us. |
A puzzle from Peyton |
And a Barbie car from Mommy and Daddy |
Then after dinner we headed to Pico Berry for some frozen yogurt. |
