Surgery for Livs

On Feb 12th, Liv had her adenoids removed.  She was having trouble breathing through her nose and wasn't getting adequate deep sleep at night which resulted in her being tired all the time.  We took her in early in the morning to Legacy Randall Children's Hospital and checked her into day surgery.  It was a minor procedure but still can be nerve wracking to have your child under anesthesia.  The surgeon said her adenoids were huge so I'm glad we made the decision to have them taken out.  She did amazingly with little to no post op pain or complications.  Dr. Thomas was is such a great surgeon and even called me himself the next day to check on Olivia.
Watching a movie pre-op in her day surgery room

I crawled in next to her and watched Frozen with my girl.

All changed into her gown and she even got a brand new stuffed bear that she was able to take home with her.

Resting post op

A little groggy, but she did so well!

Ready to go home!
