Father's Day 2011

B had to work today but we anxiously waited for him to come home to give him his gifts.  I made him a Father's Day blurb book with tons of pictures and dialogue from Peyton. Here are some of the questions/answers from the book:

Why does Mommy love Daddy?
"Because she loves him so much and got married and because she cooks a good dinner."

What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy?
"Eat candy, go outside, and play legos."

What is Daddy's favorite food?
"Cookies, BBQ pork, and chocolate."

What makes Daddy smile?
"Probably funny stuff."

What was Daddy like as a little boy?
"He ate candy and was probably a good boy."

How do you know that Daddy loves you?
"He shows me a surprise and give me loves."

What's Daddy's favorite thing to do with you?
"He likes to play with me."

How does Daddy know that you love him?
"Because I love him so much."

I love Daddy because...
"I love him and miss him at work."

How old is Daddy?
"3."

What does Daddy love?
"Mommy and he likes to get married with her and get wedding cake."

What does Daddy do?
"He makes money."

I also asked him some of his camping/beach memories and put them in there too.  I'm so thankful to have B as our kids Dad! Love you B!

After B opened his gifts, I left with Peyton to my Dad's house and B went to his parent's house with Olivia.  I hate splitting up, but sometimes we just have to for holidays since one of us is usually working part of the day.
We played basketball, LAUGHED so much, BBQ'd dinner (and dessert), and relived some fun childhood memories...
Grandpa helping him put some air in his basketball.

I was way rusty after not playing for over a year, but it comes back fast.
