Roxy Girl

In January of 2003, B and I were at Lloyd Center and browsing around while we waited for our movie to start.  We meandered into Scamp's pet shop and fell in love with a tiny puppy labeled as a "sharpei mix."  She was so sweet and cute! Well, we couldn't resist her and thought she'd make the perfect sister for Pancho, so we didn't end up seeing our movie and came home with our new puppy, Roxy.

Cutest puppy ever.

I can't find her tiny puppy pictures when we first brought her home, but I found a few where she was just a few months old.  She ended up growing way bigger than we thought (We think she's a lab mix, not sharpei) and out grew our minimum weight requirement at the apartment we lived in.  B's parents were kind enough to take her in and she became super attached to them and their dog then, Harley.  I was so glad we still got to see our girl and she had a great loving home.

So happy to see her after our honeymoon.

Right after Christmas this past year, we found out Roxy had lymphoma.  It quickly grew and took her over and she was put down last Monday.  She was such a good girl...well-behaved and playful til the end.  We will miss her so much.  Love you Roxy!
