*Eating~Last week I switched her to formula. I stopped producing enough milk to get her through the day, which is exactly what happened with Peyton at the same age. My sisters said this happened to them too, it must just run in the family. She's adjusted pretty well to the formula. She's eating about 3 oz at a time. However, we struggle to keep her awake to finish a feeding!
*Sleep~The last couple of weeks she has been up every 2-3 hours during the night to eat which has been exhausting. However, last night we moved her from our bedroom into her crib in her room and she went 5 hours and then 4 hours between feedings! I'm really hoping we'll be lucky again and have a baby sleeping through the night soon. Peyt started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks.
*She's a lot more alert and awake during the day and is focusing on our faces a lot more. She loves Peyton, she'll turn her head toward him whenever he's talking. She's had a few smiles that aren't gas-induced, or when she's sleeping which I love to see!
*Olivia is a pretty mellow baby, she really doesn't cry that often, only if she's hungry or cold (especially after her bath--oooh boy, she's not a fan of the bath still). When she wakes up during the night, she goes down pretty quickly after she eats. I'm hoping we can escape colic-free. She occasionally will take a binky, but can go a day or two without it. She's consoled pretty easily with just snuggles and us holding her on our chests.
*Peyton is doing SO much better. He loves to hold his sister and is constantly giving her loves and kisses.
